Westland Celebrious
Country: USA
Region: Washington
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 52.7%
Score: 89 Points
This is Westland’s 2019 April Fool’s release for sale exclusively at the distillery in Seattle, but unlike some previous editions, this one isn’t a joke. It was matured for 47 months in a new American Oak cask, then finished for 8 months in an ex-Tequila cask. The nose is floral and light with hints of lime, ginger, and green grapes. The taste has a good tartness with lime, ginger, and a hint of tequila spirit along with green grapes and subtle spices. The finish is tart and citrusy. (March, 2019)
