A companion release to Paul John’s PX Select Cask, this Indian single malt is matured in Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is fruity and floral with touches of Mandarin Oranges, peaches, apricots, dried flowers, and a hint of cocoa. The taste is thick, spicy, and well-rounded with notes of clove, white pepper, cardamom, and a hint of ginger complemented by dark chocolate, Mandarin Oranges, and a hint of almond oil. The finish is long and dry with lingering spices and touches of dark chocolate and almond oil. Very nice! (August, 2021)
