This blend of straight Bourbons from Nelson Bros. comes from barrels 7 to 9 years old, and is bottled at a higher strength than the standard Nelson Bros. Classic Bourbon. The nose has notes of caramel, toffee, oak tannins, honey, and vanilla. The taste is thick and oily with a delayed onset of cinnamon bark and touches of lemon zest and black cherries. The finish is long and spicy. (October, 2023)
