Stranahan’s Snowflake 2017 Edition
Country: USA
Region: Colorado
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 47%
Score: 92 Points
Named “Quandary Peak” after one of Colorado’s mountain peaks, the 2017 Snowflake limited edition single malt has a sweet nose with brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, and honey notes. The taste is spicy with notes of clove and cinnamon that dominate the palate and touches of honey, brown sugar, and vanilla underneath for a very well-balanced and consistent flavor. The finish is long with gently fading spices. Very nice. (December, 2017)
