Writers’ Tears Copper Pot Marsala Cask Finish

This blend of Irish single malt and single pot still whiskies was finished in Sicilian Marsala wine casks from Italy’s Florio winery. The nose has a soft oakiness along with muted spices, honey, red grapes, dried fruits, and hints of sandalwood and cedar. The taste is fruity and sweet with dried fruits, barley sugar, honey, and a touch of white pepper that lasts through the long and gentle finish. (December, 2019)
