Wild Turkey’s Eddie Russell blended this Bourbon from stocks of whiskey between 10 and 20 years old in honor of his father, longtime Wild Turkey master distiller Jimmy Russell. The nose has notes of caramel ice cream topping, charred oak, and a hint of vanilla. The taste has notes of dried apple chips, butterscotch, campfire smoke, dark chocolate, and coffee beans…then turns spicy with clove and allspice notes that linger through the finish, which is long and balances the spices with underlying touches of caramel, vanilla, and oak.
