Wild Turkey Master's Keep 1894 Bourbon. Image courtesy Wild Turkey/Campari. Wild Turkey produced this version of Master’s Keep exclusively for sale in Australia, and the “1894” refers to the year the distillery’s Rickhouse A was built. Eddie Russell blended casks ranging between six and 13 years old to produce this whiskey, and the nose has notes of caramel candy, cocoa, hot fudge ice cream topping, vanilla, and hints of honey and oak. The taste is spicy and intense with black peppercorns and a hint of chili pepper that fade to reveal caramel, honey, and a hint of molasses. The finish is amazingly long with lingering spices and hints of vanilla and honey. Wow! (July, 2018)
