Type: Blended Malt

Bottler: Decadent Drinks

ABV: 47.2%

Score: 94 Points

This blended malt from the “Whisky Sponge,” Angus MacRaild and his partners at Decadent Drinks comes from a cask of malt whiskies blended in 2000 with a cask of Glenrothes single malt from 2001. The nose has notes of Christmas cake, orange oil, brown sugar, and a hint of oak. The taste is thick and fruity with Christmas cake, a hint of baking spices, brown sugar, and oak tannins for a nice balance and complexity. The finish lasts for a long time with touches of dark fruits and spice. Excellent! (December, 2021)
