Westward Single Malt Whiskey
Country: USA
Region: Oregon
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 45%
Score: 92 Points
This single malt from Oregon’s House Spirits is blended from six barrels of whiskey matured for five years, though that’s not stated on the label. The nose is clean with a hint of maltiness, dried fruits, and vanilla. The taste is spicy and robust with black peppercorns, hints of clove and ginger, butterscotch, vanilla, and a touch of dried flowers underneath. The finish is medium-length, clean, and subtle with a hint of barley sugar. Very nice! (August, 2017)
