This 2024 release of Westland’s own peated malt made using peat from the Olympic Peninsula has an earthy nose with touches of garden soil and peat moss, butterscotch, and apricots. The taste is peaty and peppery with notes of garden soil, white pepper, cinnamon, and apricots. The finish is long and fruity with lingering spice and a touch of peat. Very nice! (March, 2024)
