Country: USA

Region: Washington

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 50%

Score: 93 Points

This is part of Westland’s Outpost Series of American single malts, and highlights heirloom barley grown in Washington’s Skagit Valley. The nose is malty and aromatic with a slightly dusty character and touches of stone fruits, honey, and vanilla. The taste has notes of barley sugar, subtle spices, apricots, nectarines, honey, and the spices become stronger leading into the finish with lingering touches of cinnamon and black pepper. Very nice!
