Photo ©2018, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media.Watershed Distillery in Columbus, Ohio distills this Bourbon from a 5-grain mashbill of corn, rye, wheat, malted barley, and spelt – then matures it for between 3 1/2 and 4 years. The nose has a good aroma with a nice balance of roasted corn on the cob, honey, molasses, and butterscotch. The taste has a good balance of spices and sweetness with touches of ground peppercorns and allspice complemented by honey, vanilla, and butterscotch. The finish is long, spicy, and fades away gently. (July, 2018)
