Vulson Old Rhino Rye. Image courtesy Domaine des Hautes Glaces. Domaine des Hautes Glaces in the French Alps makes this whisky from 100% malted Rye and matures it for 3 1/2 years before bottling. The nose is smooth and light with notes of fresh baked bread, ginger ale, and a hint of lemon-lime citrus. The taste has a hint of oak, along with subtle spicy notes of clove and cilantro that build over time and a hint of citrus. The finish is dry, sweet, and long. (September, 2015)
