Two Brewers Release 10. Image courtesy Yukon Spirits. This is the first cask-strength single malt from Yukon Spirits in Whitehorse, Yukon. The nose is malty and rich with notes of honey, vanilla, straw, butterscotch, caramel, subtle spices, and a hint of oak. The taste starts off dry at first, followed by a blast of cinnamon and chili powder that gradually fades to reveal honey, butterscotch, and caramel notes underneath. A few drops of water brings out a great touch of maple syrup sweetness, and the finish is long with hints of spice, toasted caramel, and toffee. Wow! (January, 2019)
