Tomintoul 1967

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Samaroli

ABV: 40%

Score: 97 Points

This whisky matured for 44 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask before being bottled in 2011. The nose remains vibrant and fruity with mango, passion fruit, green grape, and a hint of Champagne on top and toasted bread with blackberry jam in the background. The taste is fresh fruits and berries, honey, coconut, and mild spices with a hint of licorice. The finish is fruity and long.
