Tomatin Decades
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46%
Score: 93 Points
This malt celebrates distillery manager Douglas Campbell’s five decades in the whisky business. The nose is intense with a good mix of fruity and spicy notes, including baked apples, cinnamon toast, and just a hint of citrus underneath. The taste is spicy and two-toned, with cinnamon on the tip of the tongue and hazelnut at the back of the throat, along with just a hint of apples as well. The finish is long and spicy with a touch of nuttiness. A complex whisky.
