This may be a “best buy” among single malts, with a low price and excellent taste. The nose is light and aromatic with hints of malt, straw, and apples. The taste is complex, with a slight spiciness that balances hints of malt and smoke, apples and hazelnut. The finish is long and smooth with a touch of malt. A splash of water makes this dram even smoother.
