Tobermory 2002 Madeira Cask Finish
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 55.5%
Score: 94 Points
This Tobermory single malt was matured for 15 years in ex-Bourbon casks and the final two years in Madeira fortified wine casks. The nose is warm and inviting with notes of cooked fruits, green grapes, berries, and vanilla. The taste is fruity and complex with a melange of citrus fruits, cinnamon, cardamom, and hints of clove and white pepper. The spices linger nicely on the finish with touches of citrus. Excellent balance overall. (March, 2019)
