Tipperary Knockmealdowns
Country: Ireland
Region:
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Tipperary Distillery
ABV: 47%
Score: 88 Points
This 10-year-old Irish single malt is sourced from Cooley, with the casks selected for each batch selected by veteran Scotch Whisky maker Stuart Nickerson for the distillery owned by his daughter and son-in-law while their own whiskey matures. The nose is light and floral with notes of honey, straw, vanilla, and a hint of allspice. The taste is spicy and well-balanced with allspice, ginger root, vanilla, honey, and straw notes. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of straw and honey. (June, 2017)
