Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye 2016 Edition
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky

ABV: 63.1%

The 2016 edition of the Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, as with the previous editions, is uncut and unfiltered. The nose has notes of rye bread, clove, honey, nutmeg, and a hint of cinnamon with touches of molasses and honey underneath. The taste is spicy and dry with clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg notes that last and last, along with honey, molasses, and oak notes underneath that provide a good balance. The finish is long, slightly dry, and spicy, Very nice. (February, 2017)
