The Singleton of Glen Ord 14 (2018 Edition). Image courtesy Diageo. This single malt from Diageo’s 2018 Special Releases series will be available primarily in Asia, and was created using five different types of casks. The nose is slightly dry with notes of toasted oak, vanilla, dark fruits, toffee, and caramel. The taste is thick, chewy, and oily with an intense pepperiness and touches of oak tannins, honey, and dried fruits. The finish is long, spicy and oaky, but well-balanced. (September, 2018)
