Longtime Scotch Whisky master blender Colin Scott created this 50-year-old blend for The Last Drop as its first “Signature Blend.” The nose has notes of red apples, apricots, rose petals, subtle spices, roasted almonds, and a touch of oak. The taste is fruity with a nice spiciness, as touches of apple pie, apricots, and hints of caramel and toffee complement subtle spices and a hint of dried flowers. The finish is very long and slightly floral with a nice underlying spiciness and a hint of oak. Outstanding! (August, 2021)
