Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 93 Points

This debut release of The Hearach from Isle of Harris Distillers is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Fino, and Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is both buttery and malty with touches of dried flowers, heather, and honey. The taste is thick, chewy, fruity, and floral with notes of apricots, peaches, pear candies, subtle hints of spice, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and fruity with a lingering touch of allspice. A very nice debut! (October, 2023)
