The Glenlivet Pullman Club Car
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 56.2%
Score: 92 Points
One of the three whiskies in The Glenlivet’s Pullman Train Collection series, this is an 18-year-old single malt matured in ex-Sherry butts. The nose is fruity and very aromatic with grilled peaches, plums, figs, mango, clove, and cardamom notes. The taste is creamy and chocolate-y with good spicy notes of clove and cardamom balanced by milk chocolate, figs, and plums. The finish lingers nicely with dried fruity notes of raisins and plums. Very nice. (August, 2016)
