The Glenlivet 18 Batch Reserve
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 91 Points
This is exclusive to the World Duty Free shops in many UK airports, and is a variation on the regular Glenlivet 18. The nose has a good maltiness with honey and subtle touches of allspice, orange peel, and grapefruit. The taste starts off soft and buttery, but then develops a mild pepperiness along with allspice, lemon zest, and hints of honey and vanilla. The finish is long, smooth, and fruity. (April, 2013)
