The Glenlivet 14
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 92 Points
This is The Glenlivet’s first foray into Cognac cask finishing, and the nose has notes of raisins, toffee, red grapes, a subtle maltiness, and just a hint of spice. The taste is smooth with a good balance of tree fruits, dried flowers, raisins, and a hint of allspice. The finish is long with gentle spices, tree fruits, and raisins. Very consistent, smooth, and nice. (July, 2019)
