The Whisky Exchange Future of Whisky Invergordon 44 Years Old Single Grain. Image courtesy The Whisky Exchange/Speciality Drinks. This is part of a three-whisky series bottled specially for The Whisky Exchange’s 2018 Whisky Show in London, and was distilled in 1974. The nose is sweet and vibrant with a hint of orange, pineapple, toffee, brown sugar, and dried flowers. The taste is complex with notes of crème brûlée, orange marmalade, toffee, caramel, and hints of apples and pears. The finish is long and gentle with touches of apple pie and nutmeg. Excellent!
