The Dublin Liberties Keeper’s Coin
Country: Ireland
Region:
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: First Ireland Spirits/Quintessential Brands
ABV: 46%
Score: 92 Points
This 16-year-old Irish single malt was distilled at Bushmills and originally matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel before being finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask by Dublin Liberties master distiller Darryl McNally. The nose is malty with hints of figs, toffee, raisins, and honey for a nice, sweet aroma. The taste is sweet and fruity with a nice balance of spices, barley sugar, and tree fruits complemented by touches of allspice, ginger, and toffee notes that add balance and complexity. The finish is long and well-balanced with hints of allspice, ginger, and tree fruits. Very nice! (December, 2020)
