Teeling Single Pot Still Batch 1
Country: Ireland
Region:
Type: Single Pot Still
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46%
Score: 88 Points
This is the debut three-year-old Single Pot Still whiskey from Teeling Whiskey Company’s distillery in Dublin bottled in October, 2018. It’s young, and that shows in the nose with a lot of graininess, linseed oil, lemon zest, and a touch of straw. The taste is tart, peppery, and fiery with notes of lemon pepper, a hint of grapefruit, linseed oil, and vanilla. The finish has a lingering tartness with a hint of straw. It’s young, but shows good potential for older releases in the future. (December, 2018)
