Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46.8%

Score: 94 Points

This Tamdhu single malt is largely matured in European Oak Oloroso Sherry-seasoned casks, and the European Oak influence is clear on the nose with a nutty aroma and touches of figs, dates, chocolate-covered orange slices, honey, and vanilla. The taste starts off with a nice bite of chocolate and roasted nuts, followed by a slowly-building burst of spice and touches of orange peel, figs, and dates. The finish is long and complex. Excellent! (July, 2024)
