Talisker 30 2008 Release

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 49.5%

Score: 93 Points

This 1978 Talisker has a nose with gentle smokiness, oak, honey, roasted almonds, and a hint of hazelnut. The taste is peaty and intense with black pepper and cinnamon that linger before fading very slowly to a smoky finish with touches of almonds, hazelnut, and a hint of honey. Great!
