As with the other whiskies from The Splinter Group, this blend of 5-8 year old Bourbons is finished in Napa Valley wine casks. The nose has notes of caramel candy, brown sugar, soft spices, and hints of orange peel and charred oak. The taste is spicy with cinnamon and allspice notes complemented nicely by honey, caramel, and vanilla. The finish is long with a gentle spiciness and honey sweetness. (August, 2018)
