Still Waters Distillery founders Barry Stein and Barry Bernstein blend their single malt and rye whiskies together to create the Red Blend. The nose is malty with a nice balance of muted rye spices, honey, vanilla, dried fruits, and linseed oil. The taste has good spices balanced by citrus tartness and hints of barley sugar, honey, and vanilla in the background. The finish is nice and long with lingering spices and touches of dried fruits. Very nice! (July, 2018)
