St. Magdalene 1975 Single Cask
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail
ABV: 46%
Score: 95 Points
This whisky redefines the word “aromatic”, with a complex and subtle nose featuring almond, marzipan, graham cracker, and a nice malty touch. The taste is smooth and buttery with mild spices that don’t overwhelm the fruity touches of green apples and pears. The finish is long and smooth witgh no signs of oakiness.
