Springbank 1996 Single Cask

Country: Scotland

Region: Campbeltown

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 55.8%

Score: 84 Points

This was bottled for Calgary’s Kensington Wine Market, and the nose has notes of dried fruits, oak, a hint of peat, and is slightly citrusy. The taste is tart and spicy with citrus and cinnamon notes, a bit of smoke, ashy, and slightly bitter. The finish is long, smoky, and oaky.
