Springbank 12 Year Old Single Malt. Image courtesy Springbank Distillers. This cask-strength Campbeltown classic has a nose with mild smokiness and notes of salted caramel, seaweed, driftwood, vanilla, and coconut. The taste is smoky and peppery with a touch of lemon zest, linseed, oil, salted caramel, and a hint of gingerbread. The finish is dry with lingering hints of smoke and brininess. (November, 2015)
