It’s been several years since I last tasted this Campbeltown classic, so I’ve decided to go back and taste it again. The nose has subtle touches of brine and peatiness along with hints of smoked salmon, heather, and subtle spices. The taste has a nice touch of lemon pepper at first followed by peat smoke and brine, while hints of honey and heather in the background add a nice balance. The finish has a nice subtle balance of lemony tartness, brine, and a hint of peat. Still a classic years later! (Updated May, 2021)
