Speyburn Solera 25

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 83 Points

The nose is nice and malty with dried grasses and straw, and the taste starts off sweet and syrupy at first with good honey notes and a hint of almonds and hazelnut. However, there’s a black pepper kick that takes away all of the balance and leaves the dram slightly bitter. It’s not a bad dram, but it could have been much more.
