Need to prove to someone that Bourbon isn’t only made in Kentucky? Try this Bourbon from California’s Sonoma Distilling Company. The nose has notes of toffee, coffee beans, toasted caramel, and roasted almonds. The taste is well-rounded with toasted caramel, coffee beans, toffee, honey and a hint of vanilla. The finish is subtle, but long-lasting with a slightly astringent touch. Nice! (January, 2019)
