This whisky was created by Beyoncé and Dr. Bill Lumsden, and is a blend of 51% rye and 49% malted barley finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. The nose has spicy notes of cinnamon, clove, and ginger with a touch of orange peel, raisins, and brown sugar. The taste starts off with a toffee sweetness before an explosion of baking spices that fades slowly to reveal barley sugar, orange peel, and a touch of shortbread cookies. The finish is long with a honey sweetness balanced by lingering spices and a touch of cherry pie. Delightfully complex! (August, 2024)
