This bottling from the Jewish Whisky Company’s Single Cask Nation was the official festival bottling for the 2016 Whisky Jewbilee in New York City, and is one of the few independent bottlings of Wild Turkey Bourbon on record. The nose is intense with notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, pipe tobacco, leather, and fudge. The taste is spicy with black pepper, clove, pipe tobacco, charred oak, vanilla, and fudge notes, and is very warming with a good balance. The finish is long and spicy, but not overpowering with notes of caramel, fudge, and honey underneath the spices. Wow! (September, 2016)
