This 26-year-old single grain whisky from Invergordon Distillery was matured in a refill hogshead cask, and the nose has touches of honey, dried flowers, and butterscotch. The taste has notes of licorice, allspice, chocolate, honey, dried flowers, butterscotch, and a touch of oak. The finish has a nice balance of allspice and honey sweetness. (January, 2024)
