This unique limited-edition single malt from Vancouver Island’s Shelter Point Distillery gets its name from the official designation for the lot on the distillery’s farm where the barley was grown, and the GPS coordinates for that lot are listed on the back label. It was triple-distilled and matured in a combination of American and French oak casks, and won the Award for Innovation in the 2019 Canadian Whisky Awards.

The nose is dusty and dry with notes of toasted bread, subtle spices, and hints of raspberries, honey, and oak. The taste has a good balance of oak tannins with cinnamon spice, clove, anise, and a hint of licorice complemented by honey and caramel in the background. The finish is long and gentle with touches of licorice, anise, and honey. Very nice! (January, 2019)
