This is the oldest whisky so far from Vancouver Island’s Shelter Point Distillery. The nose has a honey and barley sugar sweetness along with a hint of citrus and dried flowers. The taste is malty with barley sugar balanced by allspice, honey, caramel candy, and hints of plums and raisins. The finish is long and subtle with hints of plums and raisins. (February, 2024)
