This Islay single malt from Hunter Laing & Co. comes from an undisclosed distillery on the island, and the nose has a gentle peatiness with touches of briny wet sand, smoked salmon, wet leather, and a hint of mint. The taste is peaty and peppery with hints of heather, smoked salmon, brine, leather, and a hint of eucalyptus lozenges. The finish is gentle and smoky with hints of brine and eucalyptus.
