Thanks to Jon Beach at the Fiddler’s Inn in Drumnadrochit, Scotland for supplying this vintage sample from the 1970’s. The nose is dry and spicy with allspice, caramel, cocoa, and a hint of vanilla. The taste is spicy and rich with cinnamon and pepper, but also with a nice fruitiness and citrus tartness — hints of orange, lemon, and flowers. The finish is dry and tart with citrus and mild spices.
