Riverstown 12 Bunnahabhain Moine
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Blackadder
ABV: 54%
Score: 94 Points
This single cask peated Bunnahabhain was distilled in December of 1997 and bottled in April of 2010 by Blackadder under its Riverstown label. The nose is aromatic with a gentle peaty smokiness, subtle spices, and hints of brine and honey. The taste is thick and oily with a good balance of peat smoke, white pepper, and cardamom complemented by honey and caramel candy notes underneath. The finish is long, smoky, and aromatic while warming the throat and chest nicely. Excellent! (November, 2019)
