Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Single Pot Still

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 57.6%

Score: 94 Points

This bottling is exclusive to The Whisky Exchange, and is a 31-year-old single Madeira cask that is the oldest Red Spot cask ever bottled. The nose has touches of red apples, subtle spices, pear candies, and a hint of anise. The taste starts off with honey sweetness, followed by a burst of pot still spices and honey, pear candies, and anise in the background. The finish is long, warm, and spicy. Excellent! (August, 2024)
