Ranger Creek .36 Small Caliber Bourbon
Country: USA
Region: Texas
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 48%
Score: 87 Points
This is an update to our 2012 tasting notes for Ranger Creek’s .36 Small Caliber Bourbon, which is now matured for 11 months in a small barrel. The nose has notes of oak tannins, vanilla, allspice, cedar shavings, and brown sugar. The taste is spicy with peppercorns, chili powder, oak tannins, vanilla, and brown sugar. The finish is long and dominated by spicy notes that fade away gently. An improvement over the 2012 edition. (July, 2017)
