Powers "The Long Hall" Release. Image courtesy Irish Distillers/Pernod Ricard. This Powers single pot still Irish whiskey was bottled especially for Dublin’s 250-year-old “The Long Hall” pub, where it’s available by the dram or by the bottle. The nose has good spices, along with clover honey, vanilla, and a hint of butterscotch. The taste has good pot still spices of clove, allspice, and a touch of ginger, along with butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla underneath. The finish is long with gently fading spices. Excellent!
